Benton Harbor Truth And Poverty Tour

The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is showing the real national emergency through state-led, nationally-coordinated Truth and Poverty Tours now being conducted in more than 30 states, including Michigan. These Tours, we are shining a light on the deep suffering caused by systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, and ecological devastation, which is being felt all over the country, challenging the immoral narrative that blames the poor for poverty and ignores the great abundance in our nation.

In collaboration with Black Economy Network Community Organization (BANCO), Michigan Coalition for Human Rights, and We The People of Detroit, the Michigan Poor People's Campaign is holding a community Dinner and water distribution in Benton Harbor MI on April 26th.

It is the hope from all of us that folks from all over MI will come and listen to Benton Harbor's story from the community. We are facing many injustices. The victory is when we fight alongside of each other and build power in our communities.

Please come and support! Please bring water or food to share with the community if you can.
