Description

Mama Lila was a wonderful mentor and sought to link many people and issues throughout her years of work. This celebration will seek to connect the justice issues that she worked deeply to educate and address across communities. There will be a space for discussions on vision and actions specific to: water rights, disability justice, undoing white supremacy, economic justice and preparing the next generation of leaders. Please bring a photo of Mama Lila to add to a photo album that will be gifted to the Cabbil family. Or email your photos to information@PeoplesWaterBoard.org.

Music and art will be included in the program. Lunch provided ($5 donation appreciated). Carpooling encouraged. Metered parking on the street; parking in adjacent lots $5/$7. Please share widely.
