Ann Arbor, MI
Aura Rain Rosser was an artist, a mother of one daughter and two sons, a Black woman, a daughter, and a sister. She was loved by many who knew her in Washtenaw and Wayne counties.A year ago, on the night of November 9, 2014, Aura was brutally killed in her own home by David Ried of the Ann Arbor Police Department. The Ann Arbor City Council and the County Prosecutor chose to shirk all responsibility and blame the victim instead. Her killer is back on the job, armed and dangerous.Nothing will bring Aura back. But we have not been silent. For Aura’s name not to be forgotten, we need your support and involvement. This November, one year after her death, bring your mind, body, and spirit to join the fight. #AuraRosser #BlackWomensLivesMatter #SayHerName EVENTS ONE YEAR AFTER AURA ROSSER’S DEATH To learn more about Aura Rosser and to show your support, please join us: WEDNESDAY, Nov. 4, 7 p.m., City Hall (301 E.
