Michigan People's Campaign is organizing actions around the state at congressional offices to protest the GOP TAX SCAM. We are going to protest at the closest office: Dave Trott's. The tax bill may get its final vote in the House on Friday. There are still a lot of disagreements between the Senate and the House, so the more noise we can make, the more we can put pressure on politicians to back away. Please come and add your voice! Whether you can attend or not, please go to the Facebook event above and invite friends and allies.
Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from noon-1pm
Join us in rallying against TrumpCare (in the form of the Graham-Cassidy bill which is a last-ditch effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.) The bill is worse than previous TrumpCare bills. Please bring a sign with either of these simple words: 1 - Reject TrumpCare or 2 - Save My Life The rally is in front of Rep. Dave Trott's district office. Plan to park and meet at the Troy Commons Plaza between 11:30 - 11:45. The plaza is 100 yards east of the rally. Do not park in front of the bank.

Peaceful protest at Congressman Trott's Troy office. Let's show him how we feel about his YES vote for the AHCA
Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 11am-noon
SEIU Healthcare Michigan is having this action alongside coalition partners, community groups and leaders, and concerned constituents in front of Congressman Dave Trott's office during the February recess as he has not had a town hall meeting in months. We are there to tell him that we cannot afford a repeal of the ACA without a viable replacement or cuts to Medicare and Medicaid that affect our most vulnerable. If you know any ACA recipients that would like to speak we would be happy to help amplify their story. Please share this with your progressive networks along with family, friends, neighbors, and other constituents. We want our message to be loud and clear!
