Plumbers Union
Stand for progressive values . . . at 9th District Dems meeting with Rep. Sander Levin. DEMONSTRATION AT 5:45 PM We'll "greet" people with signs related to tax reform and the budget as they arrive for the 9th District Democratic Party meeting at 6:00 pm. Signs will be provided (and available by 5:35 pm). Meeting attendees enter through one central driveway to the Plumbers untion hall parking lot. We'll gather at that driveway. ATTEND 9TH DISTRICT DEMS MEETING AT 6:00 PM We will then go into the meeting to listen to Rep. Sander Levin who typically talks about hot topics . . . presumably including tax reform and the budget (hopefully the Pentagon budget, too). This will probably be the best and last opportunity of 2017 to hear directly from him. He typically talks for 10 - 20 minutes and then takes a few questions. We have a budget-related question for him and follow-up questions which will be distributed during the demonstration (and are listed in the Discussion on this event post). Please spread out and sit toward the front of the room to maximize the chances that he'll call on you to ask a question. You can read the question from the hand-out you receive. Of course, not everyone has to ask a question. However, we need enough people to raise their hands to give us a decent chance that he'll call on one of us. PARKING You can park in the Plumbers union hall parking lot. *************************************************************************** Below is the meeting announcement from the 9th District Dems.
