Ms. Dunn feels that civil conversation is fundamental to our democracy. Climate change discussion and policy have become very polarized. Yet, we make better choices when sharing ideas. Ms. Dunn is a member of SOLAR, the Sierra Club and a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps. She is also a volunteer for the non-partisan Citizens' Climate Lobby. Registration is requested. We will be urging people to sign a petition to President Obama to call for nuclear disarmament when he speaks to the United Nations on Sept. 26. Kevin Martin is the Executive Director of Peace Action. He has traveled abroad for Peace Action in Hiroshima, Russia, China, Mexico and Britain and has been national TV programs. Walk Royal Oak after the 7 p.m. program and return to the Library for inspiration. Sign a petition urging President Obama to reduce nuclear weapons. Attend early bird seminar at 3 p.m. and eat with friends at 5 p.m. RSVP's welcomed at 248-548-3920, but not necessary.
