Meet the executive director of Repair the World: Detroit, Sarah Allyn. Repair the World is a national Jewish organization committed to making service a defining element of Jewish life. Repair the World has been in Detroit for six years, providing opportunities for Jewish and non-Jewish communities in the city and the suburbs to build bridges through service and learning grounded in tzedek, the Jewish value of justice. Repair Detroit partners with over a dozen non-profit organizations around the city to provide volunteer opportunities for thousands of participants every year. In addition, Repair hosts monthly events for the community to engage in learning and dialogue around critical social justice issues facing our city.
